My Husband's first Master Chef appearance!!!

Tucker had been working, the past week & a half, on making enough cake to feed 300ppl for a benefit for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It was exciting to watch Tucker near the end. He was practically giddy once they had dipped 337 Hazelnuts(part of the garnish). Here are some pic's from yesterday's moments...

Getting Montes truck all
cleaned up for the "long" haul over to the convention center!
Tucker & Monte cutting the cakes before we left.
Close up of Tuck, sorry, still can't figure out how to flip the pic's!

Monte standing next to the speedrack, in the back of his truck, at bay 16 outside of the convention center.
Tucker waiting outside bay 16...
Oh that's right, we had xtra time to pose :)
still waiting outside bay16.....
I think we waited for about 10 minutes & that was about the last of the sun.

Time for one group photo!!
Monte offered to snap one of us :)
The next few are of Tucker rolling his 308 dessert to the industrial elevator.

He looks excited!

Still rolling.
Almost there!
As soon as we arrived to the main kitchen, they where plating the vegetarian plate. They needed more help, so we all pitched in.

This is the staging area, the room was gigantic!!

They had these signs posted every where. Made me feel so proud of Tucker every time I saw one. So I couldn't help but snap a picture to share with you!
This picture is of Thomas Hurleys, of Hurleys Restaurant, salad plate. It was a pretty amazing dish, ask Tucker about it... (He was licking his fingers after TH drizzled the dressing on the smoked mushroom)
Here we are back in the kitchen. Tucker is plating crepes onto plates.
And here we are, Tucker's desserts!!

Wow!! Look at all of them...

This is the poster that all of the Master Chef's signed. I have one, and am going to get it framed for our front entry way.

Here is an up close, you can see Tucker's sign. and where he and the restaurant are listed in print. Pretty exciting!

I don't have a picture of Tucker up on stage. I didn't know he had gone up when he did. I was busy putting 6 caramel dots on the plates... I was kind of bummed, but at least I snapped some good pic's.
Something I want to add... When we where greeted at bay 16 the gentleman who greeted us introduced himself and his wife as being direct beneficiaries of the event, there son has Cystic Fibrosis. He thanked Tucker for his generosity and hard work. That's when it sort of hit, wow, we are really helping people tonight!

Our Company Bowling Team :)

Here is the first official picture of the first official team. Don't we look ready!?!!

Sometimes I think we are a little on the crazy side & this is why: Our bowling league is on Sunday's @ 8pm (the end of our work week and busy weekend)!! So far, we have made it to every single one. The other team hasn't even done that. Oh yeah, did I mention our league consists of only two teams!!!

Construction outside of our house....

Here are some photos of the road construction out side of our house...

So the road crew has closed 32nd place several times. Makes for a slow day at work!

So our corner still looks like this picture. Except they have ripped up more of the pavement further out into the street to be able to replace the water valves.

In this picture, if you look closely, the telephone pole had been cut at the bottom, picked up & moved to sit on the a block of wood. It was pretty amazing to watch, considering all of the wires & lines where still connected.

In this photo you can see the bottom of the rotted pole.

The workers cut peices of the pole off to make it easier & safer to take out.

Sorry I don't know why this pic isn't up right. But it shows the crane placing the new pole next to the old one.
